I think the previous answerer is somewhat confused about what country this ? refers to. Anyway, you can only claim relief for 7 years to the 2017 time-line. So yes it applies to you till 2017 and the increases will be automatically applied by the banks once the Revenue Commissioners inform the bank on how much TRS should be applied.
