I have some sampling experience and I share once again a few I like. I've been impressed with Hardy's Red Corner or Red Label, whatever it's called. Remy VS is ok too. To avoid laying out a lot of $$ I have been buying 100-375 ml's of a few VS - Remy, Salignac, Ansac and Courvoisier. I liked the Courvo and Remy, they seemed a little smoother and fruitier and reminded me of a Speyside Scotch. Hennessy VSOP Christian Brothers VS or VSOP

I agree with Smarty; Courvoisier is a lovely smooth cognac but it is very strong and very morish so be careful; it's also very addictive in my opinion. It's also really nice with a black coffee.
