hyderabad is a good place man .! i have never been to mumbai so i cant compare.. bt the only thing Rents are pretty high compared to Mumbai. i guess which will be around 2-3k for single bedrooms. depends on the area u stay. banjara hills is v gud area if u are gng for high rated place area. Sec-bad is a place where u can find both cheap and best places to stay

I was in Hyderabad near madhapore area 3 years ago, it is a peaceful metro area, and compare to Mumbai/Bangalore, hyderabad indeed is a cheap city to live in.Hyderabad is a peaceful city (don't know what will happen now after declaring Telengana) and one can live within 12-14k/PM including rent a 1BHK flat-daily grocery and other expenses. Night outs are also not risky, autos are available till 12-12:30 midnight, intercity bus service is also easily available, plus this city, many areas are connected with local trains also which is much way cheaper than auto Reply to this if you need any more infos
