Personally, even if this place exists, I wouldn't want to dine in the dark. I like to see what I am eating. One of the scary thoughts I would have is; What are they hiding????? If there were meat, I'm picky about fat and bad parts that I cut around. What if it were undercooked? Eeewwwwwww.......

Gimmick themed restaurants seem to close down quite quickly

There used to be three or four restaurants serving food in the pitch dark, but it was just a fad and all have now closed. Black Out, mentioned in another answer, closed some years ago.
