I suggest using a straw so the acid does not come in contact with your teeth.

It will help you a lot if you stop drinking soft drinks. It is better to drink normal water or natural fruit juice or coconut water instead.

I weaned myself from soft drinks by making my own flavored water. For 3/4 cup of soda, I add 1/4 cup of filtered water (ice combined). It took me 6 months to get used to it. I drink straight soda once in a while but it seems too strong.
