since you need to learn to fly airplanes first, perhaps you should visit a flying school and maybe sit in one of their planes? you have to be tall enough to reach the controls and see outside, basically, operate the airplane safely. i have the opposite problem: i'm 6'1". i usually end up flying with the seat all the way back...and, yes, the flight school sat me in a plane to make sure i'd fit.
