  • Is recycling of rotary vacuum pump oil advisable?

Answer #1 | 07/02 2014 03:00
No, rotary vacuum pump oil should not be recycled. This is because vacuum pump oils work under very demanding conditions. No matter how thorough you may be in recycling used vacuum oil, it will still contain certain contaminants and process gases harmful for the pump. Rather than risking the life of your expensive vacuum pump, it is advisable to use new oil change every time.
