You might consider 1. Define morbid, (of mind ideas), unwholesome, sickly, melancholy, or indicidative or disease 2. You might be thinking of co-morbidity, which often appears in health reports to denote existing health conditions which can be treated but not cured. 3. Other related words, morbiferous - infectious, morbific - diseased, (see Rogets Thesaurus)

No. there is no word like "morbidism". This word doesn`t exist.

Perhaps. "Morbidism" has precedent as a word - but it's vanishingly rare (only c.200 hits in Google Books https://www.google.com/search?q=%22morbidism%22&btnG=Search+ Books&tbm=bks&tbo=1 ) suggesting repeated coinages that didn't catch on. So probably you want either "morbidity" or "morbidness", depending on what meaning you have in mind. =quote= morbidity The condition or state of being diseased, or being caused by disease; physical or mental illness. morbidness The quality or state of being morbid. - Oxford English Dictionary =unquote=

No, it isn't. A person can be morbid (fearing death or worse) but there is not a collective noun for people who are morbid. He suffers from "morbidism" - no, neither is he a morbidist. Mo Eng tutor
