So, your pastor is a self-appointed prophet. He is just a human like all of us.

He's not a prophet, he only claims to be. So stop calling him that you sound insane. A few religious authorities like to this to make sure you are going to Church especially around xmas time, our local parish priest used to do this. He's lucky he doesn't do it now, because with me being an atheist, I'd tell him to get f off my property and back to his chapel

The Hew Testament does say that a pastor is suppose to know his flock. That would imply that he should have social interaction with the members of his church and know something about them as people, what is happening in their lives. etc. Every pastor I have know does at times visit his people. Usually it is at times when he knows they have a need in their lives and he wants to be there to offer his support, care and prayers. But also at times when he just wants to visit (again to let them know of his support, prayers and care.) I see nothing wrong with a pastor/prophet/priest visiting his people. Also I know from experience having done church visitation, sometimes we will visit a dozen or more people in a single afternoon. If we eat at each house we would be sick by the end of the day. So it is not unusual to decline food and just take water or coffee/tea.

What? Your aunt doesn't want like-minded believers visiting her? Really? How very unkind and antisocial of her. But, if she feels that way, why does she then turn around and visit him each Sunday? That's not quite fair. And I'm sure she doesn't stop at water during church pot-lucks either. Does she? Hypocrite. What is she so afraid of? A personal reaming?
