Go to Start>type Disk Management>choose 'create and format......'>select the disk in question>right click the area where is says 'offline' and choose 'bring online'.

Hey mate. It is actually not that difficult, go to the computer shop and get an external drive casing. It would be easier to bring your previous HDD with you. They will fit your previous HDD to a new casing and you can fix this to your computer via USB. After that the rest is history. Hope this helps.
