Having a different oil in your car isn't going to show much of a difference. If you want speed or performance you shouldn't have bought a civic. You could however turbocharge the car and actually see some gains instead of just changing oils and hopeing.

You cannot simply add a turbo to this car, the compression ratio is way to high stock. It would take a lot of money and modifications for that. With that being said , the other guy is right , if you wanted to go fast you shouldnt have bought a civic unless you also feel the need to spend thousands of dollars.

As has been said oil isn't going to change much. Royal Purple is a good choice though.
