No, it means you have it under control. But that can change in an instant if you go back to your old eating habits.

I depends on so many things.. Firstly what type of insulin regime you are on, secondly what you ate (as salads or meat do not really raise your blood sugar levels so much, or things with a high fat content will take a lot longer to process such as indian food etc.) and thirdly what your levels were before you ate/what you did before and after... I really don't think you no longer have diabetes.. as they always tell us, it's a condition we will have for life. Also you didn't say what type you have, that might change things too, I don't know as much about type 2 diabetes. Sorry dude, I think it's here to stay until they find a cure

Depends on what you ate? Did you eat a salad with fresh veggies and small amount of dressing or did you have a bowl of pasta? Not all meals are created equal, especially when they involve varrying degrees of carbs.

No. Once you are diabetic, you will always be diabetic (until they find a cure) and will always have to keep track of your blood glucose and be careful about what and how much you eat and get your daily exercise, etc. My blood glucose numbers are usually 100-125 fasting but my post prandial numbers are within normal (under 140)--it's always been this way and the only time my post-prandial is over 140 is if I do something like eat a BIG bowl of spaghetti with garlic bread and then sit there like an overstuffed toad afterward (and I seldom do this to myself anymore, did when I was first diagnosed though).
