It is cranking you mean? Or firing but not enough to continue running?

What do you mean by testing the fuel pump? Just turning the key and hearing the tank buzz like it is a bomb about to go off isn't enough. You need about 58-66 PSI to make a Vortec fire up. So...what's the PSI figure you found?
