The only fusible link on the 300 is between the alternator and battery. It is located near the battery in the main power line. It looks like a black plastic bullet. Find the positive cable attached to the battery. On the clamp, there will be 2 cables. Follow the smaller of the 2 to the fusible link. Once running, have the charging system checked for overcharging, and tell the shop to check the pin condition on the PCM. This is what controls the alt. output.
