Hi so you might have changed it, but it could have opened and stuck open hence the cold air situation was it a cheap thermostat or did you go to the makers dealer and buy it. as some of the after market spares are rubbish. so then if the controls are in the right place it could be a broken cable. all sorts of issues could be why is the heater matrix even in the coolant circuit. when they fail because they are expensive things to change some take the h eater matrix out of the coolant circuit hence the cold air.

i got a knickel says your temp control panel is bad, but check the core first. there are no cables that i know of on that, its all electronic.

You have air trapped in the system. Loosen or remove a hose or sensor at the highest point in the system you can find and add anti freeze until in comes out of that high point to purge air from the system and then run it and make sure it's full.

Either you failed to bleed ALL the air out or the heater core is restricted
