You better hope they can or you wouldn't be able to get replies from them! All internet traffic depends on the communication between IP addresses! If a server doesn't know the address to reply to it simply can not work! If you are always using your own router they only know the routers IP, your local router then replies to your specific computers local IP. Still the server has to know the routers public IP!

Any place you visit on the Internet has the ability to see an IP address from an originating source.If you connect directly to your ISP modem with no firewall, then technically yes it would be your PC's IP. If you use a firewall, then no.
