less/shorter, if you would count only their birthdays. since they would come only every 4 years, where everyone else would be 40, they would be 10. therefore 80, 20, and let's say 120, 30. and of course most would be dead before the 120th birthday, and so would the february 29th person by their 30th, therefore--less/shorter. They live the same length of time as everyone else. But: my son is now 40 and had his 10th Birthday last year. By the time he has his 11th Birthday, his daughter will by having her 12th!

They have the ability to live as long as any other person does. The only difference is that their birthday is celebrated (officially) every 4th year. In other years their birthday is celebrated as they wish - the day before or the day after. They are not considered older or younger than any other person at any age.
