The gas we use to power cars Is Petroleum. Petroleum contains large amounts of energy, Just enough to a car. The use of vegetable oils to power vehicles can be hard to explain because vegetable oil contains no energy like petroleum, which cannot power a car unless it contains energy that can be burnt.
