Don't just use Wikipedia. Check with another source.

Wikipedia does a good job of citing its soursed - check the footnotes and see where they lead. Also check the talk tab at the top of the article - you will be able to follow various opinions about the article. Often times you will get different views about the subject matter, which can make Wikipedia superior to other information sites, especially on somewhat controversial subjects.

Use a 2nd source, go to a library if you have to and ask the reference librarian for help. If it has nothing to do with religion or politics, I would say the information is as accurate as any.
