So your question is how to rent a place. Well, you look at the listings for rentals, watch for for rent signs, utilize word of mouth letting other people know that you are looking, check bulletin boards, check craigslist, contact property managers etc and then go view some places that fit into your price range and criteria and once you find something you want you tell the landlord you want it, follow their steps to apply or maybe they will just ok and then once all is in place and you have paid your security deposit and first months rent you move in and thats pretty much it.
