There's nothing American about dog walking, car washing, running errands etc, so if you are serious about trying to earn £600, those are your options (also a paper round if you can get one - and it'll help you keep fit).

Prioritize your money, especially in your current economic condition. You don't *need* a treadmill. You can walk and run for free perfectly fine. Indeed, doing either outside is better for you and builds strength and cardio health that is actually useful in the real world.

I bought some free weights from bowflex for like 300 bucks. They're awesome, they adjust every 2.5 pounds up to like seventy pounds. Just need that and a weight bench and there isn't much you can't do unless you want like treadmills and stuff which you can prob buy used cheap.

You mightn't find much babysitting for a 13 year old boy except perhaps among your own cousins or immediate neighbours. If you have elderly folk living near you, in this wild wintry weather they may appreciate someone walking their dog for them, or running errands for them so they can stay safe, warm and dry indoors. If you live in a rural area, farmers may appreciate help feeding sheep or cattle especially if they are still outdoors. Yes, car washing does work in UK but many people may wish save their money by doing it themselves. In UK (and many other countries nowadays) people are reluctant to pay for tasks they can do on their own. This week, if you could find some mistletoe and berried holly, you might be able to sell small bunches door to door. It is an opportunity you will only have at this time of year. Another thing you could do is get a parent to sing up to and post an ad looking for weight-lifting or gym equipment. Someone near you may have something they want to get rid of, if you can arrange a way to collect it
