It will always turn runny if left to sit out too long after it has been sprayed from the can. Shake the can up well before spraying, and don't use spray cream that is too old. If you want whipped cream that will hold up, buy some heavy whipping cream and whip it up yourself. You can add a bit of confectioner's sugar to sweeten it as you whip it. You can keep this in the refrigerator for several days, whipped, and it will hold its shape pretty well.
