When ready with cash in hand, look for vehicles with all of their service and maintenance records. Yes, actual paper service records. Oil changes, belts, tires, brakes, etc. If the seller can provide such, private or dealership, you'll know it's a fairly safe buy. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda are safe brands in general. But again, it all comes down to the maintenance history of a used vehicle whether it's a potential safe buy.

you are just 16 i think you should save more and then get a better car which doesn't trouble you every now and then. because with such a less cash in hand will not give you good deals. but still if you cant get the car thought out of your mind you can contact an authorized dealer and look for Toyota brand. these cars are reasonable and are easy to maintain. the dealers also offers the car finance schemes but make sure you choose the dealer very smartly. but i will still advice you to wait and save for a car that makes your smile everytime you drive it.
