If your dad was waiting for you at 3am he obviously loves you and was concerned for you. You ask how you can talk to them in a way they might listen to what you have to say. Your not coming home till 3am, and not contacting them to tell them you are ok and then lying about it has given them good reason to not listen to you. What do you want them to hear? That you want to marry this guy or you want their blessing that you date, sleep with (?), stay out till 3am with this guy? I know that sounds harsh but what you don't realize is the impact of your past behaviors on what your parents hear now. The only way out of this is to be honest and start to rebuild your relationship with your parents. When they know you are being truthful when they know they can trust your judgment, they will listen to you. When you act like an adult they will listen to you as if you are one.
