I personally can't be around meat, it makes me feel sick. Not because of me feeling sorry for them or anything, I just hate the idea of eating something that was alive not that long ago, can't get the mental picture of it out of my head lol. Some people might be whiny little freaks that act up about it being wrong, but it's personal choice at the end of the day.

I would be a vegan but I eat fish so I'm a pescatarian. I actually don't like the way meat tastes and prefer fruits, grains and veggies so it was really easy to just switch over. For people that love meat I would never recommend cutting it out completely, I would just cut back to maybe eating meat twice a week because otherwise you won't be happy and happiness is more important than anything else. There are plenty of reasons why meat and dairy isn't good for you etc. but at the end of the day more diseases and illnesses are caused by stress and if it makes you less stressful to eat some meat than I think that's best.

I love animals way more then the taste. (Planning on vegan in January). I am not a fan of pork, beef, eggs, fish and milk. The only actual meat that I like is chicken and honestly, it repulses me after the amount of research I have done. I use to love milk chocolate. Until I found out there is puss in milk. Until I found out how we use chemicals to trick cows into thinking they are pregnant to produce milk. Until I found out exactly how cows are treated. It's wrong. I choose animal life's over a taste. Besides, vegans can eat the same things as carnivores with a different make up.

Quite easily. I've been one for nearly 18 years. I just don't want an animal to have to die for my plate. I'll bet there are types of meat YOU won't eat? Dog? Cat? Human? If you really want to be amazed, go outside on a cold, clear night and look up at the stars. That's what amazes me :-)
