Doesn't matter which way you choose to play. I am let-handed 100% but I play the guitar right-handed. My left hand is my strongest so it is easier to do slurs, finger-tap, pull-offs and whatever because I have more endurance. Many right-handed people do not have the same endurance as a left-handed person playing right-handed. Having said that, and depending if you are a beginner, switch to right-hand unless you've been playing for 2 years or so. Your choice.

If you're right handed it will feel more natural to you after you've played that way for a while. I'm a rhythm guitarist by nature and inclination. It would drive me nuts to have my off hand in control of the picking patterns I play.
