dont worry. you'll have pain from the pressure on your teeth and talking might be a little harder, but it isnt that bad. trust me. i had braces twice, my sister just got braces, and my teacher also got braces. it isnt that bad

I think you'll be fine. The braces go on the front on your teeth. When people have problem with a lisp it's because they have something foreign behind their teeth or on the roof of their mouth. If you need to, explain that you just got your lower braces on and you're still getting used to them.

You won't have a lisp, a retainer will give u a lisp, but if ur really worried Talk talk talk:) the more u talk the more you're mouth will get used to it

I just got top and bottom braces yesterday morning, and i dont mean to scare you but it hurts A LOT. I cant eat any food unless its soup. It might be different for you though, because your getting everything on different days. But just warning you, my bottom braces hurt the most. You wont get a lisp from braces, that would be a retainer. I would be more worried about the pain and being able to eat normally. Because in the first few days, your teeth move very fast and your teeth are not used to it yet. And it might even tickle/hurt to talk.
