Depends. I suggest you use GM factory parts. The are the right blend. If you get too much metallic in the pads to reduce the dust, you end up with more noises. The less metallic pads you get, the more dust you will have. The GM Delco brand pads are the best choice. No noise & least amount of dust

auto zone has carbon pads I have them on all my cars 79 Lincoln 98 chevy venture (lasted 70,000) 98 coachman motor home no brake dust no squeaking very happy with these pads
