You can be fired, and if they really really want to, they will report it to the nursing board, and it will leave a black mark on your license (this is easily looked up). DON'T DO IT!

cptkathy, the thing that stands out to me is that people who are willing to falsify simple things....I wonder what type of other falsification he/she is engaging in. From a health care regulatory stand point, falsification such as this would be reported to the Board of Nursing if his/her supervisor (or should I saw when) finds out.
