First make sure the battery connections have been taken off and cleaned recently. Check the easy stuff first. If connections are clean have somebody give you a jump, and take it to someone that can hook up a battery alternator tester to your battery. Go from there.

Their are several "brushes" in the alternator that carry the voltage throghout the vehicle. They burn out and more than likely you will need to replace your alternator, if possible go to a repair shop and have them check your vehicles voltage under load (while accessories are on blower motor, headlights, radio etc) and make sure that you have at least 12.5V under load, if not replace your alternator

More than likely a bad alternator or wiring if the battery is good, but I would get the charging system checked out to make sure, Auto Zone will check it for free.
