I highly doubt a 3.0 would get you into a Medical school. Doesn't matter what undergrad school you are attending.

3.75 or higher at a State University or better.

You need a 3.75 minimum to get into Med school. As for getting that GPA from an Ivy League School vs. a state or other university, I'd say that recent developments would favour a 3.75 from a State or Other University. Grade inflation in Ivy League Schools has been a recent topic in the news. Google "Harvard Grade Inflation"
