b) Smoke test EDIT - check the 'Plumbing' Section in the link below'. That's your proof. It can't be 'Water test' since it's a test of water not pipes. It won't be 'straightness test', since it is unnecessary for drainage. If a pipe is not straight, proper slope can compensate for it.
