One main financial cannot take your car. The CAN have your wages garnished and it's not a difficult process. About 60 days depending on the court back-log where you are. If your job is a "disposable" one (meaning you can get an equal paying job somewhere else in a jiffy) you could quit. It will take quite awhile before One Main Financial catches up with where you are employed. They can't garnish if they don't know where you are employed. I don't know why I'm telling you all this...lol...I work for a small business and people stiff us all the time. In addition, I've had to garnish wages for quite a few employees over the years and I know how it works.
