Something causing trauma to the eye that would be hard enough to cause a color change would also likely result in a loss of vision to some extent. There is no way to predict HOW a color change would happen or even IF one would happen. It is a result that CAN happen after an accident, but is rather rare. More often it is just a black splotch that is left when the iris has been injured.
