You need an enzyme based cleaner to get the smell out of the carpet. It gets into the padding and the smell will still be there unless you clean it with the right stuff. Get some Simple Solution at PetCo or Petsmart. If you were sick and missed the toilet that is too bad but cannot be helped.

Water didn't do it any good. Try oxyclean for the carpet and Lysol wipes for the surfaces. Most of the smell should be gone by Monday. It needs to air out. If you're really worried, there are a few odor absorbing gels that will take the smell out and leave a fresh scent. I got mine from bed bath and beyond. "Smells begone"

If you were sick at work ? Do they not have paid cleaners that deal with this And they will carry the correct cleaning agents to deal with vomit You did at least clean what you could up
