Yes, height affects the air resistance of a falling object by affecting that object's speed. .As this speed increases so does the force of air resistance (called 'drag'). Once the speed increases drag to a value that EQUALS the object's weight, a state of dynamic EQUILIBRIUM then exists. The speed at which this situation occurs is called "TERMINAL VELOCITY". Once terminal velocity is reached an object continues to fall at this speed (which is constant).
