No it doesn't. If your monitor is connected to the dedicated,you will use only that one.

Short answer - Yes. Long answer... it depends on you. There are software that come for your system that allow you to choose whether to have these modes. 1. Always use the Inbuilt Graphics for Gaming 2. Always use the Dedicated Graphics for Gaming. 3. Use the Inbuilt one if the game is old/can be run within the Inbuilt Graphics RAM, else switch to Dedicated. 3rd Option is enabled by default in almost all systems.
