Sure. The Great Islas Malvinas War of 1982. Argentina stole the islands in 1820...Great Britain stole them in 1833...Argentina stole them back in 1982....Great Britain stole them back a few months later....

Argentina invaded the Falklands. Argentina actually sunk six British warships using French made Excocet anti-ship missiles.

Officially, it was Argentine pride. They supposedly had a claim to the islands, while long-established precedent made England the rightful owners. Actually, it was oil. Beneath the seabed within the territorial waters of the Falkland Islands is an awful lot of oil. The country that controls that area earns the royalties from the oil companies that develop those potential oil fields. As I recall, there were some sharing concessions whereby Argentina gets a piece of the pie, if ever someone gets around to baking it.
