Yes, but only for leaving the TV and lights on. Plugging the car in overnight is okay, because the car charger will shut itself off when it is full, leaving the computer on all the time is fine also.

No one individual's energy use could possibly have more than a trivial impact on global warming. Even Saddam Hussein setting Kuwait's oil fields on fire would scarcely have shown as a tiny blip in the global CO2 level. How big the very much smaller impact of the hypothetical example in this video might be mainly depends on the SOURCE of energy used to power the electricity wasted.

No. Some of those were valid reasons for conserving energy. But let us say she corrected those situations. The amount of energy saved would would only be a fraction of a millionth of the amount of energy Obama uses when he takes off on Air Force One to go on vacation. Her savings would be a drop in the ocean. Now let us look at the real issue. CO2 does not cause global warming. It never has been proven and it is not reasonable. So the use or waste of electricity is a non-issue in the global warming scheme. Another tangible option to look at is that the Earth has been cooling despite her 'waste' of electricity. om:2002/to:2012/plot/hadcrut3gl/from:2002/to:2012/trend So this shows that the person in this production did not do anything to cause Global Warming because the Earth was cooling even though she was 'wasting' energy.
