Most of them do a criminal background check because you have potential access to customers funds. If the charges were dismissed, then you have no criminal record. If on the application form there is a question if you have ever been CONVICTED of a crime, you can truthfully answer that as NO. If the question is if you ever have been ARRESTED for a crime, then you need to answer it as YES.
