sweet heart do not worry about the way you speak English. Seems to me you can understand most of it. At fast food restaurants (at least here in Southern California) when we go there we already know most of the time we will have our orders taken by someone who most likely was not born in this country. And no matter what your job is you will always have people who will try to put you down

If you repeat what the customer ask for back to them, it will give you a bit of extra time to figure out what you're not sure of. If you get it wrong when you say it back to them they will correct your mistake. The more exposure to English you have, and the more you speak with English speakers, the better your English will become.
