Look at consulting jobs. But they still work somewhere, often at the client site. And travel. And no you couldn't get a second job as programmer. The first job would have you sign a clause not to compete by working in the same field for someone else. Besides, as consultant you need to be able to work overtime on call as needed. Can't if you have a 2nd job.

Hi Leaf, Yes, you can work as a programmer without an office as long as you have the skills and expertise. All you need to do is to work as a freelancer where you work from home with clients around the world. Working as a freelancer is a great way to earn. You can also work part time so you can do it on your free time.
