x + 9 = 4(x-1)^2 x + 9 = 4(x^2 - 2x + 1) x + 9 = 4x^2 - 8x +4 0 = 4x^2 -9x - 5 I believe standard form is the Ax^2 + Bx + C, so 4x^2 - 9x -5 should be the answer.
