You should be fine. Most cars can handle around 1000 watts rms with no upgrades at all. I would suggest doing 'the big 3' just to be safe. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/13280-how-to- do-the-big-3-tutorial/

If not install a second smaller battery closer to the amplifier itself,Youtube has a video for just about every install,if you had a smaller system id say cap. but in this case a second battery is a good way to go. Try Youtube in the car audio section try(installing a second battery.) Also Youtube has a video on the (BIG THREE UPGRADE) look into this.
