unless you are changing the rimes 15ich tires will not fit on 16inch rim.

Of course not. They are way too small. Tires are the #1 piece of safety equipment on your car - a lousy place to go cheap or do it totally wrong

It wont hurt anything as long as the bolt patterns are the same. Most if not all manufactures say you can change sizes of wheels. Even though prefer not to go smaller, but it wont hurt much since all 4 are the same

Is it "safe"? Absolutely not. A 185/65/r15 sized tire has too small of a contact patch and a lesser load carrying capability necessary for your Pontiac. Don't risk it just to save a buck.
