I seriously doubt it. There are investment bankers and lawyers who can't afford to live in Knightsbridge or Kensington.

LINGUIST/INTERPRETER does not pay well (because prices are undercut by too many amateurs). You would struggle to earn enough to eat, certainly not enough to pay rent.
