Disabilities can go undiagnosed into high school It happens all the time. Unfortunately, at least in the United State, special education law states that you can be denied services or lose services if you have excessive absences because they can't prove that your disability isn't caused by the absences. Lack of access to education is not a valid reason for special education services.
