Have you checked the brake fluid level. If its full, then my only other thought would be brake fluid level sensor might be bad.

That light is for more than just the Ebrake, it's also for the main braking system. Check the fluid level as suggested. If it's low, fill it. If one side is empty, there is a bad leak. If it's full, there is a bad sensor. Your ABS won't work until you get the problem fixed and the brake light off.
