Maybe you could try using 1/3 of a cup for a small or medium load when the directions call for one bar. Arm and Hammer is probably similar to other brands so you could use the same amount that you normally use. If the box has contact information for the Arm and Hammer company you could call or email customer service.

I use this detergent and I just use a cup for each medium load it it's not that big a difference from a medium load.

I would half fill the measuring cup This way your not putting too much Or too little As long as your washing is not heavily soiled This wash them just fine
