It means that if you're in the habit of getting trashed at the weekend, you have only two days of being skint instead of five.

If you get paid once a fortnight, you get paid once a fortnight - it doesn't matter really whether its a Tuesday or a Friday !

There are no technical benefits to be paid on different days of the week, as long as it is consistent. However, if you are the type of person that can easily spend money on entertainment at the weekend then getting paid on a Tuesday would be best as you are less likely to binge spend the weekend after getting paid and you would have more money throughout the week to spend on important things.

I can't see any benefit to it. Nor can I see any non-benefit. Companies can choose when payday is. As long as you are getting paid - what's the problem?
